Being Grateful!

Hello again. I hope you are all well and recently, i've just realised how lucky I am! I'm British but half my family live in the UK and the other half live in the Philippines. Recently, it's been my birthday, Halloween, bonfire night and everything been good. I've got an education, social life and living a country that doesn't have extreme weather.

The other, if you are not aware, the Philippines have been having extreme weather: typhoon, earthquake and flooding in just the past few months. Recently, it's been a typhoon that has left thousands of people homeless and the death total is raising.
Flooding that was a few months ago

This is from the Typhoon that happened over the weekend

This has put me in the biggest reflective mood ever. I've thought I was having the worst weekend because of one little thing but in the long run of everything, my little problem was completely nothing compared to this. I wish I could just fly out their and just help everything in the country. So, to you guys, just consider yourself lucky with everything. Your problems are nothing compared to some people. We are all so lucky and just be happy really because compared to some people across the world, we are living in luxury. Hope you all had a good sunday! In the UK, they were covering the news with headlines of extreme weather warning and it's going to be the worst storm in 50 years. The 'storm' was literally heavy rain, nothing like this! I've got family living here and I have no clue if they are okay or no contact with them as they have no electricity. However, today I had a late happy birthday from one of my cousins, she some how got electricity and just thought of me.

DIY Room Storage

Hi everyone! A few weeks ago, i made these little storage pots for my room. I was getting the point where I couldn't stand having my pens and little bits all across my desk therefore I made these colourful pots that I just love.

What you will need:
Garden Flower Pots- Cleaned or new ones
Scrap Card
Pencil
Scissors
Pain Brush
Acrylic Paints

Step one: Draw round the pot onto some card so you have something for the inside of your pots because mine had little holes where things might of fallen through.

Step two: Cut out the card and place it inside the pot, it doesn't need to be very neat because you won't really see it

Step three: Do a thin layer of white pain over all your pots. My pots were black and brown so doing this just helped the colours stand out a bit more.

Step four: Start paining your pots with your chosen colours. The best method for this was to put a layer on and then leave it to dry. Then put another layer therefore the colours builds up without needing to wait hours for paint to dry.

Step five: After you finished painting with the number of layers that you want; also the paint is completely then you have got your finished pots. Fill them with whatever you want.

One of mine has got my pens and pencils that were just all over my table. Another has my highlighters in, this pot was a bit smaller and fatter therefore it was easier to get them out. Then the other one has just got my make-up in like mascara, eye liner, eye brow pencil, eye lash curlers and a nail file. The little bits that always seem to be harder to find when you are in a rush in the morning.

Hope this has helped you think of a new way to store your stuff. Really fun to make as well if you are just wanting to use your time more productive.

Happy Halloween

Well it's that time of year again when everyone gets their scary make-up out and little trick or treaters start banging on your door. It's Halloween!! This has got to be one of my favourite holidays after Christmas of course.

At Halloween, one of my favourite things to do is crave pumpkins. This year, I decided to do a little scary face and it's so much easier to crave a pumpkin when you have basic shapes to cut out like triangles and rectangles. You can find ideas on google images and found out that pinterest is just flooding with different ideas. I hope you all have a good Halloween and helped you think of a little something to do this year for Halloween.

Don't forget to follow my blog and social media, have a good day!<3

Clothing Wishlist #AutumnBlogging

Hi everyone! Well again, it's the time of the year when all the shops have restocked and brand spanking new clothes! eeek, my favourite thing ever. However, well we all know you can't get every single item that you fall in love with, unless you have the amazingly paid job! So here is my wishlist for this season

It's just an range of goodness that I will be slowly getting throughout the months if I'm lucky!
Firstly, the ankle boots! I cant decided which one to get, I like the ones on the right because they are a little different from what everyone else is wearing but the light brown ones are more girly, so help me pick! They are both from New Look

The bobble hats are a must have for me, I love the ones with the little pom poms on the back. I think they are so cute and the colours are such pretty colours, more autumn colours for me. The green one from TopShop and the cream one is from Riverisland. I prefer the green as I'm liking the darker greens for some reason.

Meanwhile the skirt is like a pencil skirt that goes just above your knees. I like it because dressing up smart isn't always so fun so I like how there is a pattern in the middle of it, help to look more slimming. While the plain grey jumper with the cable knit in the middle is just so cute and able to wear with pretty much everything; leggings, disco pants, jeans and even a skirt with tights if you want to risk that. These were both from H&M.

The blue dot shirt is from Topshop. I love shirts, a plain pattern shirt. I think it's because I like collars so much and these shirt are more for autumn/winter as they are not sheer so they are a tad warmer. It will look good with high waisted jeans and disco pants.

Lastly, are the joggers and the converse shoes. The joggers are also converse. I've always and I mean always, only worn converse joggers and shoes. This is because their joggers are slim fit and really soft inside but I only wear them in the house or the odd time I'm doing exercise and it's a bit cold. While their converse are just a classic, pretty much can be worn with everything. I'm currently got a white ones but they are getting a bit worn out now.

That is everything that I'm wishing for while looking for a new winter coat so if you know any good ones that are out there, let me know!:) That is it for now, not forget to follow me on here, bloglovin, twitter and everything else! Hope you have a good rest of the day.

Autumn Hair Ideas #AutumnBlogging

Hi guys! I'm hope you are all well, no illness i hope! Always how's school going if you are at school or college? I've been swamped with three assignments already which all need to be in at the end of this week, still haven't finished one. Anyway, I have a few hair ideas for the autumn. Since in Autumn, it's the weather where your hair is attacked by the wind and fog, here is some simple hair styles for you. So here is four really quick and simple hair ideas for you!

My hair is very long, a tad ombre at the ends! I'm hoping to do it again to make it more noticeable but that day I had my hair straight but added a bit of a wave to my hair with the straighteners for volume and honestly, I don't like my hair completely straight. So here goes, you may need to change it a little bit depending on the lengths off your hair.

Firstly! The curly ponytail. Sorry I took this one today to round it up to four hairstyles and went college like this today.

I had curly hair today but then it went really windy. It was crazy wind and my hair was just going everywhere. Therefore I put my hair up in a ponytail and I quite liked it. The curly hair makes it perfect for windy and fog weather as the curls loosed through the day, it looked like you styled it that way however when you have straight hair, your hair always seems to go wavy/curly.

Then there is the fish tail braid. I just look this look, specially as you don't need any hot tools unless you need to sort your fringe out or the little bits round the side.

If your hair got more then one colours, natural hair has different tones along with if you have ombred or got highlights, it looks nice as you are able to see the different tones. This is quick and simple plus it's a little different. This is really good if you want your hair out of your way without putting it up completely.

Thirdly, there is the half up, half down look. This is my favourite way to have my hair. Specially for wavy/curly hair, it's the best way to keep most of my hair away from my face but yet keeping down.

If you got thick hair like me, you will know that bobby pins really do nothing at all in your hair. You need to get these little clips, they are amazing to keeping hold on your hair plus you can get them in different colours. They also help to give your hair a little volume, they are a must need for me!

Finally, the last hairstyle is just the classic doughnut style bun. This is good for rainy days, all your hair is tucked away neatly or tidy, up to you.

As you can see, i have a little ginger bun but this is a good way to give your casual look a smart look. I do this a few times if I'm going out, give it's a smarter and sleek look to your outfit. It looks like you have made more off an effort while you are still wearing your smart/casual outfit.

That is it for now, hope you all liked it and if you got any more ideas, just let me know! I hope you all avoid the cold that is getting spread round! don't forget to follow me on GFC, bloglovin, twitter and everything else. Byeeee!

Graze Box #Autumn Blogging

Hi guys! Firstly I would like to say sorry that I have already been missed already. It's the thing I hate about Autumn and that is getting a cold. Currently, I have got the worst cold i've ever had. Well to the point of the blog post, I've got my first Graze Box!

Graze is a website that send you healthy snacks straight to your house, it goes through your letter box so there is no need to wait and sign for it. You get a collection of four snacks and got to admit, it's a pretty good website! It goes straight to your house or even your work place.

My Thai- This box is a collection of rice crackers, similar to snack a jacks and come with sweet chilly dipping sauce. This is so nice, this was my favourite out of the whole box!

Summer Pudding- This was yoghurt covered sunflower seeds, cranberries, these little things that tasted of cake and some nuts. This was quite nice, i really just ate the cranberries because they were so yummy!

Strawberry milkshake- This was a mix of raisins, dried fruits and a few white chocolate buttons. I basically ate all the white chocolate buttons and some of the dried fruit, it's not as good as I thought though.

Energy Nuts- This was just a mixed of different nuts, the collection are meant to be really good for you as it was mix of different nuts which are good for your body. I got this for my mum because this is what she likes so if you like nuts, this one for you.

On the website, there is many more yummy snacks. If you want a free snack, use the code 'SHEENA8WP' for a free box. It says you have to sign up for a boxes like every two weeks or week. You say you do and after you get your free box, you just cancel it like I did. Then you get a free box still without signing up for box on box for weeks. Well that's it for now, cya guys!

What I Love About Autumn #AutumnBlogging

Hey Guys! The first post of my big collection of posts. The first thing is what I love about Autumn/Fall. There is a massive list of different reasons why I just love the autumn season and here is a few of my reasons of why I just love it so much:

1. Hot Drinks!
In summer you really just drink ice cold drinks and slushies to keep your self cool. However in the Autumn, it is all about the hot steamy drinks that you can have. I've already had two hot chocolates from Costa from my college and stocking up on my teas and hot chocolate powder in the house to get my through the colder season. Who just doesn't love a hot chocolate with a massive tower of whip cream topped with melting marshmallows. Just heaven!

2. The return of wooly and cosy clothing
This has got to be my main reason for why I love autumn so much. I'm the girl who loves their big jumpers, knitwear, layering clothes along with hats, gloves and scarves! As it slowly getting a lot cooler, the quick return of the warm clothing is back! I prefer to wear these clothes then crop tops and tiny shorts like other people.

3. The warm tones of colours
The leaves are turning crispy and the warmer tones of leaves start to fall. Overall I think outside just looks nice, blue skies with the cold air with leaves crunching below your feet. Ahhh, that is just the best to me, I love all these parts for sure. It's my favourite time to go for walks, it's always 10 times pretty outside to me in this season.

4. The Holidays!
In this one season, there is Halloween, Bonfire night and my birthday! All of them events literally all happened in one week. Halloween on the 31st and my birthday on the 7th. What is not like to like about that, dressing up scary or watching scary movies and being able to crave your pumpkins. While you are able to watch the fireworks in the cold night with sparklers in the crisp cold airs. Then it's my birthday, birthdays are all sorts of fun!
The pumpkins from last year, mine is the middle one!
So these are all my favourites about Autumn! Let me know what yours are and any suggestion on what to do for Autumn Blogging! Don't forget to follow me on here, blogloving, twitter and everything else! Soon there will be an Autumn lookbook and a few bits and bobs. Going now, cya you all soon.

Blogging all of Autumn

Hi guys! Firstly I would firstly like to apologise of the lack of posts recently, I have barely blogged anything at all. I've been really busy, settling into college and the last days of summer were crazy. Now that everything has settled down and not as crazy, I'm going to blog everyday of autumn.

Autumn is my favourite type of the year. Even though it's getting darker quicker and getting a lot colder, it's still my favourite time of year from all the woolly clothing comes back out and the warm tones of colours outside. So I'm going to try to blog everyday of autumn(until about the 1st December, even though until the 20th December it's still autumn). Even though there is about 3 people that actually do read my blog, I'm still going to do it. If you have any ideas or anything, just let me know because I know I'm going to run out.

Well that is all for now, cya soon! Remember to follow my blog, instagram and all that stuff.

EOS Lip Balm

Hi Guys! So recently one of my friends went on holiday and a little gift they brought back was one of these little EOS lip balms and they are my new favourite little balm now!

The lip calm comes in this plastic red plastic cover which is very smooth. The one I got was Summer Fruits I think it was and it smells so nice! It smells like Robinson's peach juice that you need to add water too. Plus I cant stop licking my lips, it tastes SO good too. This keeps my lip so soft and pretty much lasts all day. This is something I think everyone else should get, it's really good! Perfect to recover from summer chapped lips from the sun and heat.

Thanks it for now, don't forget to follow for more!

Twice is better than once?

Hello guys! Recently I've read somewhere that you should shampoo your hair twice! I normally I wouldn't as I thought it would get rid off all my natural oils and dry my hair out much quicker. Therefore I just had to investigate this.

Using the shampoo I always use (Vo5 Damaged hair shampoo) I washed my hair once. Then I did it again and it was so much bubbly and able to foam the shampoo up so much more. After I got out the shower, my hair seemed so much cleaner and controlled my fizz so much more. Therefore I advice washing your hair twice and then do your normal routine after that like conditioner and all that.

Why does it work? I think it works because from the first wash, it will take all the products from your hair that you put it like heat protection, hair spray, any voluminous products that you put in and also washes your greasy hair that developed at the roots. Meaning on the second wash, it will just wash your hair as the products from your hair has just been washed out. The shampoo foamed up much more and was so much easier to massage into your hair.

You should try it! It makes such a different, it might work for you too! Make sure you follow me on bloglovin and all that stuff (buttons on the side) Bye for now.

Best of July

Can't beileve the 7th month off 2013 is already over and done with already. The months just seem to be going quick and decided to sit here and reflect on everything that has happened this month. Usually, I think I've wasted a whole month doing nothing so this way, I will be able to reflect on everything that has actually happened this month along with my favourite products off the month if there was any.

Firstly, there was my prom. The most exciting event that has happened this month. Honestly could off been done with the amazing teachers who organsied it all and was such a great night. If you want to hear more about my prom: dress, hair, few photos then click here and it will take you to my other post about everything.

Photo with my brother on arrival.
With my best friend since we were 5 year old.

While in England, there has actually been some hot weather. Few days were even hotter then Ibiza and Spain therefore I thought off enjoying the weather while doing something productive. I live near lots of farm and walking routes therefore I decided to do some walking along these marked out walking routes(no jumping over fences to private land) and had a good stroll down the lanes, enjoying the sun. Prewarning, don't forget a water bottle, finished 4 miles walking and water was needed.

While my favourite drink is 7 up Cherry! This has to be the best drink out off all the brands off cherry, this has the right cherry taste to it. I can't stop drinking it and only seem to find it in Tesco, so everyone who is a lover off cherry drinks needs to get this!
Lastly, I've decided to try and ombre my hair. Big shock to my hair, since I'm such a safe girl who doesn't dare to do anything to different with my hair. This was the first try with Live Salon Style in shade 9-5 which is frozen pear blonde. My hair was literally the same colour as my shirt so in one go it changed my hair to a light brown/ginger colour. Cant wait for it to all to go blonde!(Sorry for the most unflattering photo)

Lastly, my favourite bloggers on this month. Of course I am loving the big bloggers like Zoella, Sprinkle of Glitter and Tanya Burr. However the top two who are little less known are HeyyyJune and The Lovecats Inc. Their blogs are so good so go and check them both out! Well that's the best off this month, that's it for this month.

Don't forget to follow my blog on GFC and Bloglovin. Hopefully one day, there will be a giveaway for you all. Hope you all have a good day.

Suffering From Prom Blues

The other day, I had my prom and now I'm suffering from the prom blues. The night was amazing, seeing friends again, seeing my teachers, everyone suited up and dressed up and being together as one again for the last time ever.

Everyone needs to go to their prom, it is one off the most amazing things ever. Specially if you have teachers like mine who spent endless hours planning my prom and the night was perfect. The dress I wore, which you may have seen before, was from vponsale dresses. The dress was custom to my size and lasted the whole night without falling down or needed to be adjusted. So lucky there wasn't any bits that were not meant to be seen or unattractive dress pulling. The clutch was from a haul before, from dorothy perkins.

Didn't know what was on the floor but full view off my dress.
Arriving at front I was faced with a photographer shouting stuff which I really didn't hear but was a good photographer. Took some good photos off the whole event. While my actually prom was amazing, there was dancing, awards that the year voted for and a few tipsy teachers at the end off the night. The teachers were shocked about how the year was so dressed up and grown up as they were used to use in our uniforms. Even got a kisses off my teachers on the cheek like I proper adult, never felt so grown up. So overall, prom was an experience I will never forget and something everyone should go too. I wasn't even planning on going to my prom, so glad I did in the end and encourage everyone to go to theirs. It is something you won't ever forget so matter what. Going to leave you with some photos from my night.

The photographer was Frank Henshall Photograhy. A photo with my close friends and the only one from the proper photographer. All the rest off the photos are from a friend in the year below me who was invited to my prom to take photographs. I prefer her photos then too the professional.

With my best friend Harry, the only photo we have together where we are not laughing or pulling silly faces.
With the girls just before we went into the hall.
With my best friend since we were 3 year old, having a little dance off with Harry and Lewis.
With my best friend Lewis near the end off the night.
I was smiling while laughing, Harry and Lewis said something funny and pulled their serious faces.
Just before me and Kirsty left to go, about the 40 photo mum took.
All the photos are taken from my friend in the year below, how amazing is her photography skills? Apart from two photos which you can tell from the quality. Everyone needs to go to their prom, it's a day off pampering, dressing up and a night you won't ever forget. Hope you liked looking through some off my photos and if you have any questions, just ask me. Happy to answer. If it's your prom soon, hope you have a great day!

Highstreet Summer Inspiration

Finally it is starting to get to the summer weather and you may be stuck for what to wear. Maybe you just want to try something new and different. I have done four different styles from four different highstreet shops. Everything can be brought from their shops or online. Hope these give you a few more ideas off what to do this summer, it's been awhile since there has been any sun in the UK.

The first one is from Next It's a casual day time look but like a shopping day out or even a beach look
The second look is more off a festival look or a sporty day out look. All the items are from New Look and all more a comfy clothings for jumping or running around in.
The third look is from TopShop. The look more off a smart and casual look all together. The patterned shorts and bag give the look a more smart look while the baggy white cami and denim sleeveless top gives it the overall look a different look.
While the last look is from River Island. It's a more summer look with the bright green maxi skirt but not too over the top by the simple coloured from the rest off the outfit. This is always good to way at day time or at night by adding a smart jacket to it.

Well that is the first outfits. Hope you liked them and got some ideas from them to help towards your summer clothes or even your holiday clothing. Leave me a little comment and follow me on bloglovin. Button is on the side! Along with my Twitter, Instagram and Tumblr.

Silky Summer Legs- Homemade

The world of Tumblr. The place filled with little cats, penny boarders and quotes from your favourite TV shows. Where for me, I found this amazing little recipe to get super soft silky summer legs. At first I did not believe this would work because stuff like this never work but oh my! It worked and I couldn't stop stroking my legs. This recipe came from http://militaryfit-bombshell.tumblr.com and it is far better then everything you could ever buy from a shop for sure. You all need to try it.

Super Silky Summer Legs
Next time you are feeling down, about to binge, going on a date, or just need to pamper yourself, do this. I just did it and I can not stop rubbing my legs together. It feels like I paid for that over expensive pedicure at the salon.
Ingredients
1 1/4 C Sugar (Yup, plain, good-ol’ white sugar)
1/2 C Oil (I used olive oil, but you can use any oil, coconut oil, baby oil, canola oil)
3 tablespoons Citrus (Lime or lemon)
1-2 Razors
Mix everything together in a bowl.
Soak your legs in the tub for 5 minutes.
Shave your legs.
Rub some of this mixture all over your legs. The sugar will help rub off all dirt and dead skin. Rub, rub. Feels like a mini massage.
Rinse it all off, shave again. I would use one razor per leg if you have two. You will be rinsing this razor a lot. I was GROSSED out by the amount of dead skin I was “shaving” off. It was insane! Trust me, you’ll see.
Rub your legs again! Second coat of wax, oh yeah.
Rinse off! You can use a mild soap to help get some of the oil off.
Lotion your legs up, and feel the silkiness!
Now this isn’t just geared to ladies…. guys, if you want to get lucky, I suggest you offer to rub your ladies’ feet with this mix too. It feels awesome, and when you get lucky, you will be thanking me that her rough grandma feet aren’t cutting your legs, if ya know what I’m saying… hahaha.
I have silky arm pits too!!
Try it, I swear, You will want everyone to touch your legs.
You will need;
 • 1 1/4 C Sugar (Yup, plain, good-ol’ white sugar)
 • 1/2 C Oil (I used olive oil, but you can use any oil, coconut oil, baby oil, canola oil)
 • 3 tablespoons Citrus (Lime or lemon)
 • 1-2 Razors

 1. Mix everything together in a bowl.
 2. Soak your legs in the tub for 5 minutes.
 3. Shave your legs.
 4. Rub some of this mixture all over your legs. The sugar will help rub off all dirt and dead skin. Rub, rub. Feels like a mini massage.
 5. Rinse it all off, shave again. I would use one razor per leg if you have two. You will be rinsing this razor a lot. I was GROSSED out by the amount of dead skin I was “shaving” off. It was insane! Trust me, you’ll see.
 6. Rub your legs again! Second coat of wax, oh yeah.
 7. Rinse off! You can use a mild soap to help get some of the oil off.
 8. Lotion your legs up, and feel the silkiness!
This is perfect to get them really soft summer legs that everyone wants when wearing skirts and shorts. It's cheap, it's item from your household that everyone normally has. I have no doubt that once you have tried this, you wont't believe how amazing it is! This has got to be one of the best things you will ever try and you're welcome! I know you will love this as much as me. Get yourself ready for summer now! If you are in England, get your self ready for the tiny little bit of sun we get now and then.

Liebster Awards!

What are the Liebster awards some off you may be asking? Well I didn't have a clue what this one until I got nominated by two wonderful blogs: everything-nothing and Lucie's corner. These two blogs deserve for you to have a look out and even a follow. Well the liebster awards is where blogs under 200 followers get nominated by other blogs, they answer a set off question and tag another 11 blogs. I got nominated twice so I'm going to do both set off questions that the blogs above asked me.

Everything-nothing's questions:

My favourite book is by far ‘The Help’. It’s about black people being white people’s maid and the problem that they have while working and the revenge they set out on the white people. A very funny book!

2. What made you start blogging?
I think it’s because I was reading other blogs and wanted my own. As I’ve finally finished school, I thought it was good timing to use spare time productive and will be more exciting things then just going school everyday.

3. Who is your all time favourite blogger?
It has just got to be Zoella! It was the first blog that I came across and I ended up reading most off her posts.

7. What is your favourite item that you own?
Well it’s my Goofy Teddy from Disney World from Japan my brother got from his hoilday, i am just a disney freak.
8.What color of nailpolish do you use the most?

Well at the moment as it’s summer (well kind off) and I’ve a bit more tanned now, it’s this pastel green nail polish.
9. If you could go back in time, how old would you want to be? and why?

I think it must be when I was about 5. It was the time when it was just me and my brother used to go the beach all the time, my grandparents were still here and my biggest worry was if it was too cold for my paddling pool.
10. What do you do on a cosy day at home?

These are normally my sundays. It is all about PJs, the duvet covers being brought downstairs with hot chocolate watching my favourite TV shows and catching up on the soaps.
11. What is your favorite TV series?

Well my all time favourite shows is Criminal minds and all the CSI’s. However for when I’m waiting for the new episode of these to come on, Big Bang Theory and How I Met Your Mother is just a classic.

Lucie's Corner's Questions:

1. Why did you start your blog?
I think it’s because I was reading other blogs and wanted my own. As I’ve finally finished school, I thought it was good timing to use spare time productive and will be more exciting things then just going school everyday.(Same answer as above)
2. Something you’ve recently learned?
Recently learnt a life lesson, high school will be a long distance memory and the people in there you are less likely to ever see again so don't get caught up on the drama.
3. Your favourite band/singer?
Like above, It's Maroon 5! While for the singer it's Ben Howard.
